Resetting a Mirra: discovery error
If you’re using Mirra and you experience a problem where the client software can’t discover or detect the Mirra server, try hitting CTRL-SHIFT-R in the application to reset Mirra. This undocumented command will refresh the cached network settings and possibly resolve your trouble. In a situation where I’d recently updated the client software and device firmware and things fell out of sync, and all other troubleshooting — Mirra services running, antivirus/firewall properly configured — failed, I called Mirra support, they mentioned this keystroke, and the problem was solved. Hope it helps you, too.
